GiFT 2011

The first GiFT mainly targeted at undergraduates and high school students who were yet to decide their specialized areas of study and research. For these future leaders, 12 young researchers from the university each made a 15-minute presentation on global issues and possible solutions to them. More than 100 people of all ages gathered to find out about their own issues, with another 500 people viewing the event live on the Internet across Japan. The video archive of the event was viewed 6,288 times in just a month, indicating high levels of interest in the forum.
